The checker
When you scan a page, our server loads that public URL, runs automated accessibility checks, and returns the results to your browser. We do not store scan results or screenshots after the response is sent.
To prevent abuse we keep a rate limit record keyed to your IP address (or your IPv6 network) that holds the times of your scans in the last 10 minutes, plus a site-wide daily count. We also record that each verification token was used, so it cannot be reused. These records contain no scan content. Our host, Netlify, also keeps standard server logs.
Verification
The checker uses ALTCHA, a self-hosted proof-of-work check that runs a short calculation in your browser. It does not use a third-party captcha service and sets no cookies.
Analytics
This site does not currently use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising tags.
